The Zoo! 2011

Ryan's new Company is Intermountain Technology Group. He's basically a computer nerd.

But, I love my computer nerd; and he's even really trying to dress himself better; knowing he has to "sell" himself as well as his company. Well, his first company picnic was to the Hogle Zoo; and we had a marvelous time. Here's to more fun in the future!!

Bobby Graduates Preschool!

Oh, man, am I happy. Bobby was just a few weeks old when he started coming to preschool; and he's been crying about it ever since. Suffice it to say that Bobby has never enjoyed my divided attention during preschool; I really thought he was over that when we began this preschool year. Alas, he was not thrilled, and we survived. He did a marvelous job with his part in the Graduation: Brown Bear Magic Bag! Hooray for Bobby and for Miss Amanda; who will never have to be his teacher again. Oh, wait. Just got a new calling: CTR 5 Primary teacher. Whose class? Bobby's.

Boston 2011

How long has it been since we have been away just the two of us? Too long! Ryan had a conference in Boston; so I met up with him for the weekend and we had a terrific time. I took in the Skywalk while Ryan was still at his conf. on Friday; and that gave me all the ammo I needed: it gives you a sense of direction and then we just went!! Boston Common, Boston Pops, Boston Marathon, Beacon Hill, Fanueil Hall, Duck tours, Red Sox game, pedicabs, Freedom Trail, Salem.... it was fantastic. I loved the beautiful architecture from the 1700s. This country is so rich in it's heritage, and I felt lucky to be there. Not only that, walking downtown Boston at 10 p.m. and feeling SAFE in such a large city?! Unheard of. Here's a little taste of our weekend in Boston:
