Nelson Cousin Day Camp

It came. It went. It was fun! It was NCDC 2008- Nelson Cousin Day Camp! It was all inspired by a conversation I had with Jordan a few months ago... "It's Andrew's birthday- he's 12!" Jordan: "Who's Andrew?" O-K. He is your cousin! Which led me to the Family Fun magazine online to a Day Camp for Cousins!! We met Monday for a few hours and this is what we did: Opening Ceremony, Nelson cousin fairy-tale story time, Nelson cousin Jeopardy, Lunch, brown bag skits, and water fun. Grandma came, Sisters-in-law came- we had a blast! I made them silly t-shirts with the number of order Grandchild they are- my Sis in law, Jana and I have had kids in rapid succession- which means she has Grandkids 6 and 7- Marisa and Lauren, and I have 13 and 14; Bobby and Julia!! How crazy is that? Anywho- I just love my neices and nephews- they are each so individual and special! They each have stellar personalities and it was fun to learn more about each one of them! Try it out sometime- I am already planning the Day Cousin Day Camp: DC squared!!
